You are invited to attend a town hall webinar hosted by the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Immunization Programs. The “Introduction to the PA CARES Program” webinar will provide important information about the new Pennsylvania Children’s Access to Routine and Essential Shots (PA CARES) Program. This webinar is open to all providers enrolled in Pennsylvania and Philadelphia’s Vaccines for Children (VFC) Programs.

- The Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Immunization Programs are hosting two sessions of the “Introduction to the PA CARES Program” all-provider townhall webinar:
- Session 1: Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (webinar link below)
- Session 2: Friday, November 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (webinar link below)
- All VFC providers are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions to learn about the PA CARES Program, which is being developed to supplement the federal VFC program in the event of any potential vaccine schedule changes.
What is PA CARES?
The PA CARES Program will ensure children in the Commonwealth who are eligible for VFC keep access to necessary vaccines without cost sharing, in the event that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention makes any changes to recommended vaccines and/or vaccine schedules within the VFC Program, following advisement of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
