Re-enrollment Opens February 1, 2025
The Philadelphia Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Adults at Risk (VFAAR) annual re-enrollment period will take place from February 1 to February 28, 2025. The enrollment will be done electronically through PhilaVax.
Prepare for Re-enrollment
Complete these steps now!
- Update Clinic Tools
- Review the information indicated for your site in the Clinic Tools, Clinic Information module. Use these job aids to guide you through making needed updates to clinic:
- Complete VFC Annual Training
- The primary and back-up VFC vaccine coordinators must complete and document annual training. If you have not taken the CDC’s You Call the Shots training in the last year, you will need to complete these steps:
- Take the VFC Refresher Test or Storage and Handling Refresher Test.
- Note: The test takes up to 20 minutes and you do not need proof of passing score.
- Add the training date to your PhilaVax staff page. See instructions here.
- Take the VFC Refresher Test or Storage and Handling Refresher Test.
- The primary and back-up VFC vaccine coordinators must complete and document annual training. If you have not taken the CDC’s You Call the Shots training in the last year, you will need to complete these steps:
- Make sure you have the access to PhilaVax
- The vaccine coordinators and medical director must log into the PhilaVax IIS to access, complete, and sign the electronic re-enrollment form.
- If you have not completed the 2025 User Confidentiality Agreement to renew your account or do not have a PhilaVax user account, use this link to complete it now.
If you have a PhilaVax account and need to update your password, email philavax@phila.gov and provide your PhilaVax username for assistance.
Please note that the PhilaVax account renewal and VFC/VFAAR re-enrollment processes are separate, and you will need to complete them both.
