03 Jul 2026 New Temperature Reporting Process
Good news! We’re simplifying how temperature data is reported. Beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, vaccine coordinators using PDPH-issued digital data loggers (DDLs) will now submit routine temperature data through PhilaVax only. Click the button below to view the updated temperature reporting guide.
As a reminder, temperature data is due every 28 days, when placing a vaccine order, when the vaccine goes out of range, or if you wish to use a new storage unit. Check out our temperature monitoring and reporting webpage for more information.
Temperature Data Reporting Breakdown

Emailing Temperature Data
Here is some more information about when you should email us your temperature data at tempcheck@phila.gov:
Privately Purchased Digital Data Logger: Clinics with AccuVax units and providers using approved privately purchased digital data loggers are required to email their temperature data to tempcheck@phila.gov.
Temperature Excursion: If vaccine is exposed to temperatures outside the required range, including when vaccine is left out of proper storage, contact tempcheck@phila.gov for further guidance. If the excursion involves a storage unit temperature issue, upload the temperature data to PhilaVax and email the temperature files to tempcheck@phila.gov.
New Storage Units: New refrigerators and freezers must be approved before being used to store VFC/VFAAR vaccine. Email 48 hours of temperature data to tempcheck@phila.gov, along with photos of the inside of the unit, the outside of the unit, and the outlet into which the unit is plugged with “Do not Unplug” stickers.
