Call for Nominations: 2026 Immunization Champion Award

Nominate a local immunization leader for the 2026 Immunization Champion for Philadelphia Award!

The Immunization Champion Award is a national award program hosted by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) that honors individuals who demonstrate immunization leadership, collaboration, innovation, and/or advocacy in their community.

If you know someone in Philadelphia who is promoting and fostering immunization, help us recognize their efforts. Also, please help us spread the word about this opportunity and share this email with your local networks.

Eligibility Criteria

Individuals can be recognized for their work in childhood, adolescent, or adult vaccinations.

Who is eligible?

  • Health care professionals (i.e., pharmacists, physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants)
  • Nonprofit leaders
  • Community activists
  • Parents
  • School and education leaders
  • Coalition members
  • Community-based organization members
  • Immunization partners

Who is ineligible?

  • Employees of the jurisdiction’s immunization program
  • Employees, spouses, and immediate family members of pharmaceutical companies
  • Individuals who are entitled to royalties or other compensation for a vaccine product or process patent
  • Individuals serving in an advisory or consulting role (paid or unpaid) to a vaccine manufacturer
  • Individuals who have accepted or solicited funds from vaccine manufacturers
  • Previous CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award or Immunization Champion Award winners
