Dr. Mayssa Abuali, Immunization Program Medical Director, recommends discussing vaccines with families through active listening and transparency. To keep infants and young children protected, “prioritize vaccines that prevent diseases carrying considerable morbidity and mortality, and those vaccines with lower than needed coverage rates such as RSV, fourth DTaP, MMR, and influenza.”
