The CDC has released a limited amount in each wave, so we encourage sites to order early. Orders may be adjusted to ensure equity among patient populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dosages:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>RSV comes in two dosages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>50 mg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 mg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both dosages are administered as an intramuscular injection with a single-dose, pre-filled syringe and should be ordered to be properly administered by weight. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligible Patients&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Infants aged &lt;8 months born during or entering their first RSV season\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 dose of nirsevimab (50 mg for infants &lt;5 kg and 100 mg for infants \u22655 kg) \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do not give two doses of the 50 mg product in place of the 100 mg product<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children aged 8-19 months who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease and entering their second RSV season\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0200 mg nirsevimab, administered by two 100 mg syringes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions or concerns, reach out to Victor Obeck at <a href=\"mailto:victor.obeck@phila.gov\">victor.obeck@phila.gov<\/a> or our Ordering Team at <a>DPHproviderhelp@phila.gov<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beyfortus Open Ordering Now Available VFC providers are now welcome to order Beyfortus as needed.
