Beginning in September, the Philadelphia Immunization Program will be implementing a new ordering process for the Vaccines for Adults at Risk (VFAAR) program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All VFAAR orders should be submitted by the end of the day on the first Wednesday <\/strong>of each month. Orders will be reviewed once per month, on the first Friday of the month. Approval status can be checked on the following Monday in PhilaVax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the month of September: If an order is placed after the September 3 due date, it will be reviewed at the start of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, our funding for the VFAAR program remains limited as our budget has not increased to meet the needs of our population. Please continue submitting your vaccine orders as needed\u2014each request will be reviewed and partially or fully approved based on current inventory and funding availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope this new ordering process ensures equitable distribution of vaccinations across all VFAAR provider locations. Please continue to submit temperature data and reconciliations at the same time as your order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
