While there will be ample supply to meet the needs of all VFC providers, each individual wave will provide limited doses. Therefore, initial ordering will be staggered to allow for all providers to have doses on hand when <strong>vaccine administration begins on October 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Next Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your office will be contacted via email with a specific timeframe and amount that you are permitted to order.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not attempt to order outside of your timeframe. Administration<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nirsevimab is administered as an intramuscular injection with a single-dose, pre-filled syringe, and it should be ordered to be properly administered by weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Infants aged &lt; Handling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Store refrigerated between 36\u00b0F to 46\u00b0F (2\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C) through the expiration date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After removal from the refrigerator, nirsevimab must be used within 8 hours or discarded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><br><strong>Reporting Adverse Events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nirsevimab is the first drug product to be included in the VFC program.
