{"id":11889,"date":"2025-03-25T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/?p=11889"},"modified":"2025-03-18T15:05:29","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T19:05:29","slug":"rsv-season-ends-march-31-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/index.php\/rsv-season-ends-march-31-2\/","title":{"rendered":"RSV Season Ends March 31"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) season draws to a close <strong>on March 31, 2025<\/strong>, we want to remind all healthcare providers of essential considerations regarding administering the RSV immunization, nirsevimab (Beyfortus). \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>End of RSV season:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Continue to administer doses of\u00a0nirsevimab\u00a0to eligible children through March 31, 2025. Do not administer doses of nirsevimab after April 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do not discard unused immunizations:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have unexpired doses of nirsevimab at the end of this RSV season, do not discard them. These doses can be safely stored until their expiration date.
