{"id":11656,"date":"2025-02-03T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/?p=11656"},"modified":"2025-01-30T14:58:15","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T19:58:15","slug":"vfc-vfaar-re-enrollment-begins-today-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/index.php\/vfc-vfaar-re-enrollment-begins-today-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"VFC\/VFAAR Re-enrollment Begins Today!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VFC\/VFAAR Re-enrollment Begins Today!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Philadelphia Vaccines for Children (VFC)\/Vaccines for Adults at Risk (VFAAR) annual re-enrollment period is now open!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sites enrolled in VFC and\/or VFAAR must submit a re-enrollment form by <em>February 28, 2025<\/em> to continue participating in these programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Follow these 3 steps for a smooth re-enrollment!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Complete this <a href=\"https:\/\/redcap.phila.gov\/surveys\/?s=CWAAPTFXMNWHH89T\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/redcap.phila.gov\/surveys\/?s=CWAAPTFXMNWHH89T\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color:#2176d2;\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">survey<\/a><\/strong>.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Your answers will help us better support you throughout the next year.<br>A submission is <strong>required <\/strong>to complete re-enrollment for your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Update Clinic Tools<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Update the information indicated in the <strong><em>Clinic Tools, Clinic Information module<\/em><\/strong> for your site. Use these job aids to guide you through making the necessary changes to the clinic tools page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/staff-changes-job-aid\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/staff-changes-job-aid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Staff Changes Job Aid<\/a>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The primary and back-up vaccine coordinators must document completion of the CDC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.cdc.gov\/nip\/isd\/ycts\/mod1\/courses\/vfc\/ce.asp\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www2.cdc.gov\/nip\/isd\/ycts\/mod1\/courses\/vfc\/ce.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">You Call the Shots training<\/a>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>VFC:<\/em><\/strong> If you have taken this training before, you may complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/ed\/vfc\/vfc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VFC Refresher Test<\/a> instead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>VFAAR:<\/em><\/strong> If you have taken this training before, you may complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/ed\/vfc\/sh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Storage and Handling Refresher Test<\/a> instead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the training(s) to your PhilaVax staff page by following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5_IFE7pIFH8\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5_IFE7pIFH8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">these instructions<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/clinic-address-delivery-hour-update-guide\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/clinic-address-delivery-hour-update-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Address or Delivery Hours Update Job Aid<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. This can be found by running an insurance report using your EHR or billing software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/primary-agreement-signature-guide\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/index.php\/portfolio_page\/primary-agreement-signature-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Medical Director Signature Job Aid<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you have access to PhilaVax?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vaccine coordinator and medical director must log into the PhilaVax IIS to access, complete, and sign the electronic re-enrollment form.
