{"id":10999,"date":"2022-07-19T10:35:15","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T14:35:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/?post_type=lsvr_notice&#038;p=7265"},"modified":"2024-09-11T15:51:57","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T19:51:57","slug":"be-ready-update-your-vaccine-management-plan-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/index.php\/be-ready-update-your-vaccine-management-plan-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Be Ready!: Update Your Vaccine Management Plan Today!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Update Your Vaccine Management Plan Today!<\/h1>\n<p>Summer means storm season, and to help you be prepared, we&#8217;ve created a new <a href=\"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/v6VaccineManagementPlan_6-28-22.pdf\">Vaccine Management Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It has all the information you need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Store your vaccine safely.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to an emergency.<\/li>\n<li>Transport your vaccine during an emergency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don&#8217;t wait until the storm, comes take action today:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the document with all the staff that works with VFC, VFAAR, or COVID vaccine at your site.<\/li>\n<li>Gather the supplies indicated on pages 14-17 of the document.<\/li>\n<li>Fill out the information on the first page of the document.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fax (215-238-6948) or email (<a href=\"mailto:TempCheck@phila.gov\">TempCheck@phila.gov<\/a>) a copy to our office by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Friday, August 12th<\/span>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Post the full document on your vaccine storage unit.\n<ul>\n<li>You can print a copy today or keep an eye out for a copy in the mail this week!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Make sure your site\u2019s backup storage locations are appropriate for vaccine storage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approved\n<ul>\n<li>Doctor\u2019s offices freezer compartment of combination units<\/li>\n<li>Hospital Pharmacies<\/li>\n<li>Pharmacies<\/li>\n<li>Approved Unit at Another Clinic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Not Approved\n<ul>\n<li>Personal Home Freezers<\/li>\n<li>Personal Deep Freezers<\/li>\n<li>Freezer Compartment of a Combination Unit<\/li>\n<li>Storage Containers with Dry Ice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Be ready to move vaccine in an emergency. Gather the supplies needed to transport your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/recs\/storage\/downloads\/emergency-transport.pdf\">refrigerated<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/vaccines.phila.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/v4TransportingFrozenVaccine_SH_3-8-22.pdf\">frozen<\/a> vaccine today!<\/p>\n<p>Have questions?
